Dog training does not have to be miserable for you or for your dog, believe it or not it can actually be a great deal of fun for you both. Learning how to enjoy dog training instead of dreading it can be done by doing the right amount of research and really putting in all of your best effort to work hard and to make this work. Learning how to play and have fun with your dog is very important and can take a little bit of practice also, especially if they are a little bit stubborn. The best way to accomplish this is to practice all that you can but make sure that you or your dog do not completely wear yourselves out working on all of these dog training skills. Having fun is definitely the most important part of any kind of dog training, there is no doubt about that. Too many people spend their time getting upset or frustrated during the dog training process, which totally bums the dog out, along with really making the trainer feel negative about the entire thing. It is very important to keep a positive attitude and always, no matter what, remain patient throughout all of the training courses.

Enjoying your dog and also having a great time while attempting to teach them properly is very important for you both and by watching others that are experienced with some dog training skills can really put you where you need to be with your more experienced and fun dog training techniques. Always remember to reward your dog because it will reinforce that what they are doing each and every time is worth getting a special treat and it will help to teach them exactly what you expect of them. They will learn because you are giving them something yummy, as well as smiling a great deal and ofcourse offering them plenty of praise each and every time. Rewarding your dog will bring the both of you much closer towards success with the dog training skills that you have applied. Finding that thing that really makes him want to do good is really important and sticking with it each and every time will give him that constant praise and reassurance that he surely does want from you, his owner.

Dog training can feel a little bit overwhelming at first for many individuals but just stay calm and stick to your guns when it comes to dog training and it will soon pay off. There should never be any problems when trying to locate more information regarding all types of dog training so that you can find something that works best for you and your dog. This will be an amazing experience for you and your dog and it will also be a true bonding experience for you both, so make sure that you plan on enjoying this experience completely and your dog will too.

Believe it or not you actually have the opportunity to experience a dog training course over the internet, if you choose to do so. Many people have chosen this as a way to help properly train their little pooches and it can work! Some skeptics are probably leery about this type of thing, wondering how in the world this would be at all possible and one of the concerns is the fact that you will not have the opportunity to ask the teacher of the online dog training course any questions. If this too is a real concern for you then the way that you should look at it is, paying a real life hands on instructor is going to cost you much more than taking an online dog training course, where you watch a recorded piece of an instructor providing you with all of the information that you would need to train your dog appropriately.

The really awesome thing that so many people are thrilled about after taking their online dog training course is the fact that they were the ones that had the special opportunity of actually training their beloved dog, not some stranger that they had to pay an enormous amount of money for. Being able to do it yourself by just watching a recorded video, will give you such a good feeling of achievement on your part and the fact that you and your dog are getting the chance to spend that one on one time with each other is just really great and has so many wonderful benefits as well. You and your dog can sit right there in your comfortable home, with comfortable surroundings for both of you and experience this video together, it will definitely be a big learning experience, for you and for your precious dog.

Another wonderful thing about having the ability to watch an online dog training video is the fact that you will have the opportunity to view it as many times as you would want to. So, if your dog does not catch on right away, which they normally do not, you will have many chances to spend quality time with him, teaching him right from wrong and even learning a few cool little tricks with him along the way. He will enjoy it just as much as you will and being able to save yourself some money is always a really great thing right! Dog training is definitely worth any amount of money spent and any amount of your time spent also because your dog will benefit from the experience in so many different ways. You will be so very happy with the results and you will be so excited about showing him off to your friends and family and also being able to inform them that you yourself are responsible for properly training your dog. Everyone will notice the difference the first time that they come around him, after the online dog training course and you will just feel so very proud.

The day you bring home your little bundle of joy can be an exciting one for the whole family. Your new puppy will be a loving friend and companion for many years to come. One of the first things you will need to do as a new parent is to teach your puppy good manners. You will need to potty train puppy and it’s not hard to do, if you know how.
Dogs are very intelligent. They love their parents and want to please them. They will try really hard to do what they are supposed to do. But just like with human children they do need to be taught the proper times and places to relieve themselves. Follow a few simple steps to potty train puppy and you will enjoy each other’s company a lot more.
The first thing you want to do when you first get home with your puppy is to take them outside to relieve themselves. When taking them out use a phrase such as ‘go potty’ or any other phrase that you feel comfortable with. Just remember to use the phrase every time you take them out. This will let them know what they are supposed to do. Once they’re done praise them and try to spend some time playing with them.
Dogs don’t like to soil their den. They won’t relieve themselves near their bed, food and water. They are very clean animals generally. It’s because of this den mentality that crate training is so effective. When you purchase a crate take into account how big your puppy will get when she grows up. Make sure to get one that will allow your grown dog to move around comfortably, stand up completely without hunching and have room for their bed and some toys.
Since the crate will probably be too big for your puppy you want to close off the back section of the crate while you potty train puppy. This will reinforce their natural dislike of soiling there den. If they have too much room in their crate they will just relive themselves in another part of the crate. Just take a board and make a partition to close off the back half of their crate. Once they get bigger you can remove the partition and give them access to the whole crate.
Remember the crate is a tool to help potty train puppy. It isn’t a punishment. You want to make it inviting and leave the door open when the puppy isn’t in it. That way they can go in whenever they want. Also, keep the crate near the family. Don’t isolate them. Even when they are in their crate they should be able to see and hear what’s going on and feel like they are part of the family.
To potty train puppy as quickly as possible keep your puppy in the crate whenever they can’t be supervised. When you go to bed, or off to work, put the puppy in the crate.
Puppies are like small children. They have small bowels and bladders and don’t have much time between the time they realize they have to relieve themselves and when they actually go. Make sure you take them out frequently throughout the day. And limit their water intake in the hour or so before you go to bed or to work.
Following these simple tips will make it easy to potty train puppy. Just remember your dog is clean by nature, very smart and she wants to please you. Give her every opportunity to succeed and she will. Enjoy your new best friend!

Potty Training A Puppy. . .

There are a number of reasons why dogs have problems with inappropriate urination and in some cases defecation.

Unfortunately most dog owners don’t understand why this happens and are unsure what to do.

It can even happen to dogs that have been trained and housebroken.

Many dog owners who are unable to address the problem simply take their dog to the pound as they assume there is no alternative to the problem that they are unable to solve.

Unwanted urination is a very common problem that many dog owners face and is more common than most people would assume.

You will need to eliminate any medical reasons first, as there could be bladder infections that are causing the urination, but aside from that there are other reasons why dogs will urinate.

One of the most common reasons for a dog to lose control of it’s bladder is from excitement and you will generally see this happen a lot more with puppies.

With puppies this is a lack of bladder control that will generally stop, as they get older.

Puppies are often unaware that they are urinating when they get excited and to reprimand them for doing this will cause confusion.

To get angry with your dog for excitement urination can lead to other problems where the dog will begin to urinate from submissiveness rather than excitement thereby creating another problem that will need to be addressed.

With excitement urination the best cure is prevention and that is achieved by not allowing your dog to get overly excited.

And the best way to stop your dog getting over excited in certain circumstances is to expose him/her to those situations more often until they no longer get excited to the extent that they urinate.

Puppies will eventually grow out of excitement urination as they develop better bladder control.

Submissive urination is something that is common in the wild, where dogs, being pack animals, show their submissiveness to the leader of the pack by lowering themselves and urinating.

Where a dog is showing signs of submissive urination this is effectively a sign of insecurity and is very often associated with dogs that have been abused.

It can be difficult to correct submissive urination and quite often the best method is to ignore what is happening and focus on developing a better relationship with your pet and help to build it’s self confidence.
